If you have a pulse, you have a chance
Capitalizing on the ever-present opportunity for awakening
If you're reading this right now, the opportunity exists for you to loosen the grip of your conditioning and connect with life in a way that unequivocally removes existential doubt.
You don't have to get all your spiritual ducks in a row first. You don't have to study anything or master any new techniques.
We're talking about recognizing your own, actual nature. Not only do you not need anything or anyone for that, nobody other than you can do it.
The only thing that can get in your way is convincing yourself that you're not ready.
Enlightenment actually just means returning to the basic awareness of what you are, what you've always been, what you'll always be.
Non-enlightenment is a temporary hiatus from the truth.
This is why the dream analogy works so well. No matter how convincing the dream, it must by its very nature end, and reality reassert itself.
Just as there's no particular sequence of dream actions that would guarantee waking up, there's no particular practice that guarantees enlightenment.
You can wake up from a dream any time. You can “attain enlightenment” any time. No matter what came before, and no matter what you suppose comes next.
If you have a pulse, you have a chance.
